# Regra de indexação de conteúdo

## Visão geral

Essa regra faz parte das que rodam em background, conforme comentamos nessa [página](/zeevdocs/criar-bibliotecas/o-que-sao-regras-de-negocio.md), ou seja, sua configuração não reflete a interface de algum módulo; por isso, é chamada "regra do tipo **Serviço"**.

Ela é responsável por extrair o conteúdo dos arquivos que não passaram pelo [OCR ](/zeevdocs/customizacoes/ocr-+-expressao-regular.md)nativo do Zeev docs, seja por não terem uma extensão suportada (como um arquivo .txt), ou pela biblioteca não utilizar o OCR. 

O cenário mais comum de uso dessa regra, é quando se deseja realizar [busca por conteúdo de arquivo](/zeevdocs/dia-a-dia-no-zeev-docs/como-consultar-documentos/com-realizar-busca-por-conteudo-de-arquivos.md). Essa regra extrai o conteúdo dos arquivos, possibilitando sua localização através desses conteúdos:

A configuração dessa regra se resume em definir a quantidade de documentos que serão processados a cada ciclo de execução do serviço:
