# Regra para excluir documentos

## Visão geral

Essa regra faz parte das que rodam em background, conforme comentamos nessa [página](/zeevdocs/criar-bibliotecas/o-que-sao-regras-de-negocio.md), ou seja, sua configuração não reflete a interface de algum módulo, por isso é chamada de "regra do tipo **Serviço".**

Ela é responsável por efetuar a exclusão permanente/física dos documentos, ou seja, é excluído do Zeev docs e storage. 

Para melhor compreensão, vamos revisar os tipos de exclusão existentes no Zeev docs:

* **Exclusão lógica do documento**: é a exclusão manual realizada pelo usuário em alguma biblioteca. O documento ficará ~~<mark style="color:red;">tachado</mark>~~ e na cor vermelha, indicando que ele foi movido para lixeira, podendo ainda ser restaurado;
* **Exclusão permanente**: essa exclusão é realizada conforme configurado nessa regra de negócio, que excluí permanentemente o documento da lixeira, não sendo possível restaurá-lo.

### **Como configurar a regra de exclusão**

Essa regra requer apenas a definição do prazo para exclusão permanente do documento a partir de sua exclusão lógica:

Na listagem de regras de negócio, você também pode configurar para que documentos existentes em uma etapa, situação e pendência específica sejam excluídos:
